# PCT international filing and national phase entry

Files one international application to hold your priority date across many countries, then selects the countries and enters the national phase on time.

The PCT grants nothing — it buys time and an international search report before you must pay country by country. The value here is in hitting the deadlines: missing national phase entry loses the right in that country for good.

- **Who may perform this:** Licensed IP representative with a foreign associate network
- **Timeline:** International filing in 1–2 weeks; later milestones run from the priority date
- **How pricing works:** Quoted stage by stage and country by country. WIPO international fees and local counsel fees are separate items, paid against the invoices of those bodies.

## Deliverables

- The international application filed with the appropriate receiving office
- A deadline schedule and a recommendation on which countries to designate
- Coordination of local counsel at national phase entry

## What you provide

- The specification and claim set
- Details of the Vietnamese priority application, if any
- The markets where you actually sell or manufacture
