Produces the set of views the formal requirements demand, decides how many embodiments to file, and follows the application through to grant.

Design applications are commonly returned because the views are incomplete or inconsistent between angles. The number of embodiments is also a cost decision: each one adds fees, but filing too few leaves the variants unprotected.

- **Who may perform this:** Industrial property representative working with a technical draughtsperson
- **Timeline:** Typically 5–10 working days to finalise the views and file
- **How pricing works:** Quoted by the number of embodiments and how many views must be redrawn.
